ELTOR d.o.o. product certification project approved
The beneficiary ELTOR d.o.o. has been approved for a project called “ELTOR-CERT” aimed at certifying products according to internationally recognized standards, with the aim of strengthening competitiveness and entering foreign markets, which is co-financed by the European Union.
As part of the implementation of the Project, testing and certification of 3 products (lighting fixtures intended for use in so-called Clean Rooms in the healthcare sector) will be carried out according to the ENEC, EMC, CE and EN 13032-4:2019 standards, with conformity assessment and certification for use in clean rooms according to ISO and VDI standards, which will enable their compliance with the technical requirements of the EU and the global market.
In addition, through the ELTOR-CERT project, the beneficiary ELTOR plans to introduce ISO 50001:2018 – Energy Management System, ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System.
The project represents an important step forward in the internationalization of the Company’s business, especially in the EU, Middle East, Asia and the Region.
Project Summary:
The purpose of the ELTOR-CERT Project is to ensure the necessary prerequisites for increasing sales on the domestic and foreign markets, especially in the S3 segment of the connection between light and healthcare, through investment in the implementation of standards, i.e. through the acquisition of certificates on the safety and reliability of products and processes. With the grant for the certification of 3 products and the introduction of an energy, quality and environmental management system, ELTOR will solve the problem of a weakened competitive position on the market caused by the absence/non-compliance with internationally recognized ISO standards and certificates, which will contribute to the growth of client confidence and consequently facilitate the placement of products on the market within the healthcare sector. The target groups are: ELTOR company, customers and end users.
Project Value:
The total value of the project is €166,983.00, of which €107,354.43 is co-financed by grants, while the own contribution is €59,628.56.
The duration of the project is 18 months, starting on September 1, 2025.
